Corporate meeting rooms are set to become even more productive with the introduction of Vivitek’s new DU7000Z laser projector series, comprising the DU7295Z and the DU7098Z. Thanks to their high performance, these maintenance-free laser projectors deliver an exceptional viewing experience and low total cost of ownership, combined with Vivitek’s renowned durability.
They are ideally suited to mid- to large-office meeting rooms, due to their straightforward installation, simple cabling and quick image alignment.
The DU7295Z delivers 9,000 lumens with WUXGA resolution, while the DU7098Z provides 7,000 lumens. Both are maintenance-free laser projectors that boast enhanced colour performance, Rec. 709 colour space capacity and HDR support. This allows for a true-to-life colour reproduction, ensuring outstanding visibility in a meeting room environment. Additionally, the variety of projection modes – including DICOM Simulation mode to enhanced X-ray image – delivers an all-round, great performance.
When it comes to sound, the built in 2x10W speakers means that the message is always well received, while the projectors are very quiet – at just 33dB in normal mode – thanks to the superior thermal technology used to cool them. Furthermore, the DU7000Z series ensures users can view and listen comfortably while the content is projected, without being distracted by a noisy fan.
Helping companies adhere to their environmental policies, the DU7000Z series features an Instant and direct power on/off function, enabling the projector to shut down without waiting for it to cool down. Moreover, if the user forgets to turn off the projector, they have been designed to automatically shut down when there is no signal input over a certain period, thanks to the eco-friendly No-Signal-Auto-Power-Off function.
Low Total Cost of Ownership
Like all Vivitek solutions, the DU7000Z series has been engineered with durability and high performance in mind. The projectors’ robust design is further enhanced with its thermal technology. They utilise a fully sealed optical engine and an enhanced ventilation system, which has been designed to aid cooling and minimise the impact of dust. This gives users years of trouble-free, reliable performance, saving both time and money.
Compared to traditional lamp projectors, the DU7000Z series’ lamp-free design prevents any hidden costs, thanks to its long-lasting light source. This reduces maintenance and negates the need to schedule a lamp change. It also achieves long-lasting performance with up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation.
Ease of Meeting Room Installation
Appealing to system integrators as well as customers, the DU7000Z series offers excellent installation flexibility. With one cable management – the HDBaseT – only a single cable is needed for image, sound, and control. This makes the projectors ideal for mid to large meeting rooms where it is necessary to run long cables up to 100 metres, without compromising signal quality. System integrators and network managers have the benefit of simple remote management, due to the DU7000Z series offering network monitoring. It is compatible with a multitude of help desk solutions, such as Crestron RoomView®.
Installation is made easy due to seven choices of optional lenses, ranging from 0.78 to 5:1 throw ratio. Meanwhile, the manual lens shift capacity provides flexibility for installation placement. Equally efficient is the image alignment, with its four-corner correction, and horizontal and vertical keystone corrections, which makes lining up an image easy. Furthermore, the DU7000Z series can be complemented with Vivitek’s NovoConnect Solution for wireless presentation and collaboration.
