Visteon Provides Landmark Digital Solution on Nissan Compact SUV

The Nissan Rogue has undergone a complete digital makeover for the 2021 model year – with Visteon supplying the cutting-edge digital cluster technology as one of three high-tech in-car displays that launches the start of a new generation of vehicles.

With a ground-up redesign, the compact SUV now comes in a boxier style – and Visteon’s cockpit solution provides the punch when it comes to pioneering technology. The 12.3-inch customizable display delivers more than just speed and revs per minute. With the very latest Ethernet features, the cluster incorporates next-level navigation with high definition maps, ADAS visualization features and in-vehicle infotainment elements with music and album art.

Standing out from the crowd, the innovative and eye-catching digital cluster represents a number of firsts for Visteon. Breaking new ground for the company, the solution is the first fully reconfigurable digital cluster that is capable of 60 frames per second (FPS) for the gauge pointer. The cluster is also the first to utilize CGI Studio as the graphics toolchain and is the standard-bearer for implementing graphical user interface (GUI) dimming.

The software present on the Rogue cluster will also be featured on more than 10 additional Nissan models within the next year with additional features and graphics – including the X-Trail, Qashqai and Infinity QX60.
