ViewSonic has been developing its large interactive display business and product line and this year decided to invest in a presence with its own booth at BETT.
Both ViewSonic and FlatFrog told us that the new displays use the FlatFrog ‘InGlass’ infrared technology in its new touch display which is available in 65″ (75″ and 86″ will follow in Q2). The new display includes a fingerprint reader to allow support of Windows Hello security. The display has some ‘smarts’ in the form of integrated Android functions and the standard display supports casting from Chromebooks, Windows, iOS and Mac. Windows functions are supported through OPS. The display can also be used with the Intel Smart Display Module (SDM).
