UltraHD Panel Orders Rise for Monitors and TVs

Orders for curved, UltraHD monitor panels are increasing in 24″, 27″, 28″ and 32″ sizes, say Asian reports. Samsung, LG, Sharp, Acer, Dell, Asus, Chimei and BenQ are said to be placing orders, with AUO and Innolux responsible for supply. At the same time, UltraHD panels are being ordered by TV vendors, in 43″, 48″ and 49″ sizes. Japanese and Korean vendors hope that these will compete with 50″ panels, said sources.
