UltraFlix 4K Streaming Video Network Now a Featured Video App on all Hisense and Sharp TVs

NanoTech Entertainment announced today that UltraFlix, home of more than 1,000 hours of Hollywood movies, top sports and nature documentaries, award-winning TV series and concerts, is now available on Hisense and Sharp Smart TVs. Hisense, the top TV brand in China, is now making a strong push for cost effective sets in the Americas at major retailers.

Nanotech has been building its 4K library for nearly two years to deliver an extensive collection of 4K entertainment. With a combination of native 4K digital titles, 4K film scanning, high-quality scaling techniques and a dedicated team of video artists, UltraFlix has successfully amassed a selection of Hollywood hits from major studios such as Paramount, MGM, Millennium, Magnolia and Warner. Award-winning documentaries made for IMAX theatres, hot new TV series from A&E Networks, concert series and stunning time-lapse motion art from top independent producers from around the globe round out the mix.

“4K TVs were one of the hottest consumer electronics purchases this holiday season. Shipments of 4K Ultra HDTVs surpassed expectations in 2015, reaching 6 million units in North America, with forecasts to double that level to 12 million units in 2016, according to data just released by market research firm DisplaySearch/HIS,” said Aaron Taylor, NanoTech’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “Together with Hisense, we will be opening up premium viewing experiences to both the cost- and quality-conscious markets.”

“At Hisense the customer is central to everything we do. Our high-quality, yet affordably priced televisions have made us the fastest growing 4K TV brand in the US,” said Mark Viken, VP of Marketing at Hisense. “We are pleased to be able to enhance the customer experience by making the world’s largest library of 4K UHD content available to Hisense and Sharp TV owners via UltraFlix.”
