The Advertising Association/WARC Expenditure Report for the UK has reported that overall advertising spending in the UK grew to £5.7 billion ($7.4 billion) in Q1, up 5.9% on 2017. Out of home advertising grew 5.3% after growing 1.5% in the same quarters last year. The organisation expects 3.2% spending increase for the year, overall. Internet spending is up 10.8% and mobile internet was up 26.5%.
