A new version of Pebble’s Time smartwatch is now available to pre-order. The Pebble Time Steel will be shipped within eight weeks. It is essentially the same as the highest-priced version of the watch, but is made entirely of steel and features an improved display. This is a 64-colour square LCD screen, with less glare and a non-noticeable air gap, according to reviewers. Some criticism has still been leveled at the display for appearing ‘washed out’ when the backlight is on. Depending on the strap, the Time Steel costs between $250 and $300.
