What They Say
Corsair Gaming has joined the monitor market with the Xeneon 32QHD165 Gaming Monitor. The 32″ AUO AHVA IPS QHD LCD display has QD for WCG (100% of sRGB and 98% of DCI-P3 as well as 100% of AdobeRGB) with refresh up to 165Hz with G-Sync support. Inputs are 2x HDMI 2.0 ports and 1x DisplayPort 1.4, as well as 2x USB 3.1 Type-C and 2x USB 3.1 Type-A ports. Peak brightness is 440 cd/m² and response time is quoted at 3ms G2G and 1ms MPRT. A small design feature is that the stand has a standard camera mount thread on the top for cameras and lights.
What We Think
TFTCentral looked at a sample and found the display has a light anti-glare coating that looks good. The site’s review suggests it is a ‘solid’ start by Corsair. It sells at $799 and at that price it looks distinctly premium – competing more closely with entry level 4K 144Hz models. (BR)
