Details of Facebook’s Aria project have been revealed after an FCC listing of a manual. The headset will not include displays but will be focused (sorry!) on capturing information and video. It will have four cameras that are the same as those used in the Quest 2. The glasses will be built around a Qualcomm SoC.
What We Think
This project is said to be about working out what sensors are needed. That seems useful. It’s still not clear how long it will take for society to get used to people with permanent cameras, as it surely will. (BR)
