ThirdEye Gen, Inc released the X1 Smart Glasses with Enterprise Solutions Platform and announced the creation of the ThirdEye App Store.
The company said that its HD (1280 x 720) display is the equivalent of a 90” screen at 10 feet (3.1m) and the X1 is a fully integrated product. The field of view is 40º and the Android 7.0 system uses an Adreno 530 GPU with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (expandable). There is a 13MP camer and video can be recorded in 2160p30, 1080p60 or 720p120. Battery capacity is 2,400 mAh and battery life is claimed at 8 hours.
The lenses can be swapped (for plain or prescription lenses) and are photochromic. Connectivity is via Bluetooth and Wi-fi up to 802.11ac. The headset costs $1,999
As well as the hardware, ThirdEye is happy to work with hardware from other companies that use Android.
