“The World’s Longest” VR Rollercoaster Opens in Las Vegas

A VR rollercoaster, claimed to be the longest of its kind in the world, has opened in Las Vegas. The 4,777′ (1,456m) long Big Apple Coaster can be found at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino.

Riders experience a virtual reality scenario where a scientist chases an alien along the Las Vegas Strip, after it escapes from Area 51. Last week, KTNV Channel 13 Las Vegas posted this video of the experience to its YouTube account.

Hmmm.. Perhaps I’ll try that next time I’m in Las Vegas. It’s bizarre that it it’s in New York-New York as one of the main attractions of that casino is a real roller coaster! (BR)
