Tenet: Christopher Nolan explains why they crashed a real 747 instead of using CG

What They Say

Well, it hasn’t got much to do with displays, but I was intrigued by an article that explained that to make a scene in the Christopher Nolan film “Tenet”, the team planned to use models and CGI, but found that it was cheaper to crash an actual 747.

What We Think

There are a lot of spare aircraft around at the moment, but it’s still surprising that such a scene is not cheaper in CGI. (BR)
