Ten companies and research institutes from the OLED industry have teamed up to launch the OLED Licht Forum, announced at the Light + Building trade fair in Frankfurt, Germany last week. The companies involved in the forum include OLED Works, Osram, Merck, BASF Coatings, EMDE, Fraunhofer, Hema Electronic, Irlbacher, Apeva and Walo-TL.
The non-profit forum will seek to raise awareness of OLED technology as a lighting solution by way of demonstrations, lectures and conferences. Its first task will be the opening of an OLED lighting showroom.
