Deutsche Telekom (DT) is releasing a new STB, the MR401, will support UltraHD and will support direct access to Netflix. The Netflix access will be added to the DT Entertain TV offering. Ultra HD content from other content providers including Videoland, YouTube, Sky and Insight TV will also be available through EntertainTV. The company said that bit rates up to 100 Mbps will be available on the boxes via a subscription to the MagentaZuhause L rate plan.
The MR 401 is an upgrade to the Deutsche Telekom MR400.
