Tablet Vendors Specialise to Retain Market Share

To boost tablet shipments in saturated markets, vendors are developing models for specific applications, say Taiwan-based IC design houses. Tablets designed for use in education, business and gaming applications – with low costs, large displays and high graphics capabilities – are being developed, the sources said.
