Stratacache Acquires Scala for Global Expansion

US digital signage hardware, software and services provider Stratacache has acquired Scala, the digital signage platform developer. The deal combines the USA’s (Stratacache) and world’s (Scala) largest signage companies.

Stratacache says that its strong revenues and large-scale operations will enhance Scala’s business; and that Scala’s global channels and extensive reseller and partner network will help the company to grow outside the USA.

“Stratacache has great admiration for the Scala platform, the Scala team, the Scala reseller channel and the great history of the company,” said CEO Chris Riegel. “With the Stratacache acquisition of Scala, we believe that we can help Scala and its partner channel realise the runaway success that Stratacache has experienced in the digital signage industry, while significantly improving the depth and breadth of products and services for Scala customers and channel partners worldwide.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
