Sony Selects Quantel for 8k Post-Production

Quantel is providing a ‘Pablo Rio’ 8k system to Sony PCL, in Tokyo. The system enables high-resolution editing, colour-correction and finishing for the post-production pipeline. This is the world’s first Pablo Rio 8k installation for real-world commercial applications. Sony PCL will launch its 8k services in August
