Sony Pictures Motion Group has appointed Jake Zim as SVP for virtual reality – a newly-created position. Zim will be responsible for building a range of narrative VR content for Sony. He will work with EVP Kuni Suzuki and a team of professionals from across Sony Pictures.
Zim was previously an SVP for digital marketing. In this role, he oversaw promotional VR initiatives for Sony Pictures, such as the work between Sony and The Void to create a VR Ghostbusters experience in New York (Sony and The Void Call on The Ghostbusters).
