Sony has released an update to the Media Player on the PlayStation 4 Pro to extend support for UltraHD content replay beyond OTT sources to include local playback from USB keys or DNLA servers. The videos have to be in .mp4 format.
The update also allows the viewing of UltraHD 360º videos using the PlayStation VR headset.
