A new report on smart glasses for augmented reality (AR) has been published by Technavio. The research firm notes that multiple companies are now entering the space, including large internationals like Microsoft and Samsung and smaller firms such as GlassUp and Meta.
Several vendors are using crowdfunding to raise capital for their glasses. The benefit is that this has introduced products specifically tailored to user demand.
