Despite Sky Deutschland initially recommending that its shareholders reject the deal, the company has now been fully acquired by BSkyB (‘Sky’) (EU Approves BSkyB Deal).
Sky completed its buyout of Sky Deutschland’s remaining shares (approximately 4%) on the 15th September. The company is now due to be delisted from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
The Sky Group now owns BSkyB, Sky Italia and Sky Deutschland.
