Sky Deutschland is switching more of its SD channels to be exclusively HD on its cable service on November 26th 2020. The HD channels are available at no extra charge. On Sky receivers, the HD channels will automatically appear in the channel list; subscribers with a CI+ module or a third-party receiver may have to initiate a channel search.
The switch-off will take place on the cable networks of Vodafone Deutschland and on the former Unitymedia networks taken over by Vodafone.

This continues a switch off over the last couple of years. It’s amazing to finally see SD disappearing. (BR)
