Sharp NEC Launches Ultra-Quiet P627UL and P547UL Laser Projectors with Increased Brightness

Sharp NEC Display Solutions of America has unveiled its next-generation P Series of entry-level installation laser projectors. The P627UL and P547UL provide a brightness increase of 6,200 and 5,400 lumens, respectively, making them suitable for use in areas with higher ambient light conditions such as retail and restaurant settings, corporate boardrooms, museums, higher education classrooms, and houses of worship.

The P627UL, in particular, is the quietest operating projector in the 6,000-lumen LCD laser category, thanks to Sharp/NEC’s patented sealed cooling system that prevents dust and eliminates the need for filters or as much air flow for cooling, reducing noise production. The projectors employ 20,000-hour Lasers and HDBaseT input, providing single cable access for video, audio, and control. Additionally, manual vertical and horizontal lens shifts and HDBaseT input offer more flexible installation options. The P627UL and P547UL are now compatible with ProAssist software support for network-based picture control and geometric correction capabilities.
