3 Screen Solutions (3SS),(IBC2022 stand 5.A83), and SEI Robotics Inc, (IBC2022 stand 5.F64), announce that Swedish operator Tele2 AB has gone live with its new Tv Hub Mini, which is a 4K dongle for OTT (over-the-top) TV.
Based on Android TV OS, subscribers to the new Tele2 Tv Hub Mini service enjoy a custom 3SS-engineered user experience powered by 3Ready – in 3SS’ first major operator dongle deployment -– harmonious with the award-winning STB UX which Tele2 subscribers have been enjoying since 2018.
Tele2 devised the new OTT offering to satisfy subscribers’ need for the latest TV experience, combining linear with OTT. The SEI Robotics 4K dongle delivers Netflix, and many other streaming apps and TV channels.

When it comes to entertainment, we want them to have the best experience whether they want to watch linear channels, or use streaming services. With the new Tv Hub Mini, we make it even easier with a dongle without cables that works via wi-fi,” says Niclas Rosendahl, Director of Entertainment at Tele2.

As with earlier 3SS deployments for Tele2, the OTT dongle’s UX features an Android TV Custom Launcher based on the 3Ready Product Framework.
