Gerhard Schulz, who worked for Ingram Micro since 2000 and has led the European arm since 2013, is leaving the distributor on the 30th September. Marc Snider, formerly head of the Canadian branch of Ingram Micro, will replace Schulz.
Schulz’s departure comes at the same time as a corporate restructuring, which will see all region managers relocated to the company’s HQ in Irvine, California. When the reorganisation is complete, Ingram will cover three broad regions – EMEA, APAX and the Americas – and three business areas – Cloud, Commerce & Fulfillment and Lifecycle Services.
