ETNews of Korea reports that Samsung may be about to enter the market for fingerprint recognition chips, currently dominated, it said, by Synaptics and FPC of Sweden, who are rated to have more than 90% of the market with 40% and 50% share. The paper said that Samsung would use algorithms from Precise Biometrics in Sweden.
