Rumours originating from Korean publication, “The Bell” indicate that Samsung’s long-awaited foldable smartphone will fold inwards and feature three 3.5″ OLED panels—two on the inside, which connect in the middle to make one 7″ panel, with a single panel on the exterior, allowing the user to access a range of functions without necessarily opening the device.
The Bell also says that Samsung’s first foray into the foldable smartphone market won’t be mass-produced, sticking to a limited run of up to 2 million units, and that this rumoured design is not final—Samsung is also apparently looking into an outward-folding version.

Frankly, we’ll believe it when we see it. It would be amazing if Samsung didn’t have teams looking at every possible form factor that might help drive the smartphone market forward. (BR)
