The Korea Times reports that Golden Bridge Investment, also based in Korea, has predicted that Samsung’s foldable smartphone could cost approximately $1,850.
The firm has also reported that the device will feature two displays — the foldable interior and an additional outer display, corroborating earlier reports. In terms of the smartphone’s screen size, GBI conflicts with previous reports, saying the device will feature a 4.5″ display when folded, unfolding to a 7.3″ size, slightly larger than previously thought.
Recent reports revealed that Huawei is also working on a foldable smartphone, using flexible OLED panels supplied by BOE. Apple is also believed to be working on its own foldable smartphone, scheduled for release in 2020.
