The ET News in Korea reports that Samsung is expected to make 10 million of its new S8s (tentative name) smartphones which are expected to be launched at MWC in February in the first two months. The volume is the same as initially produced for the S7, so the company does not expect any significant decline as a result of the warranty problems from its Note 7. Lessons from that issue are said to have been addressed in the S8s.
The paper backs rumours that the phone display will cover a lot of the front, but says that there is only a single camera. Gaze will be supported through the camera, but fingerprint recognition will be on the back.
