Samsung is well known for its Galaxy S series and Note smartphones, but the company sells phones at a range of specifications. The A5 (2018( is the next in the A series of mainstream phones that is expected to be released at CES 2018. It is expected to have a model number of SM-A530 after a support web-site page was spotted online.
There is not quite the secrecy of some of the launches and the A5 is expected to have a 5.5″ 18.5:9 display that may have a FullHD+ resolution and very little bezel area and will be based on a rigid display. The CPU is expected to be the Exynos 7885 with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and 16MP front and rear cameras. Water resistance will be IP68 and battery capacity is 3,300mAh.
Another model may be the A7 which will have the same kind of specification, but a 6″ display.

Speculation is building about the release of a new S9 and S9+, possibly with 5.8″ and 6.2″, respectively. We have also heard that there may be an S9 Mini next year with a 5″ OLED display with curved edges.
