Samsung is working with the Stanford Research Institute to improve the security of its mobile devices. SRI has an iris-scanning technology that Samsung will integrate into a custom version of its Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 tablet. The tablet will be shown at the ISC West show in Las Vegas in April. According to SRI, its iris-scanning method is ‘1,000 times’ more accurate than fingerprint authentication.
