DivX LLC (described in the article as a ‘notorious patent litigator’) has filed suits an a Delaware court claiming that LG and Samsung and Realtek, the semiconductor company (which is described in the article as ‘LG’s RealTek Semiconductor unit’ – which it’s not). The patents relate to video processing including a 2011 patent over “multiphase adaptive bitrate streaming”.
