Razer Updates Blade Stealth Laptop And Core V2 GPU Box

Razer announced the new Blade Stealth laptop featuring Intel’s latest 8th generation quad-core processor and the Razer Core V2 external graphics enclosure.

Razer Blade Stealth laptop featuring Intel’s latest 8th generation quad-core processor

The Razer Blade Stealth features a 13.3-inch Quad HD+ (3200 x 1800) IGZO touch-enabled display with 100% sRGB color space. The processors go up to an Intel Core i7-8550U processor and supports up to 16GB of system memory and 512GB of SSD. Battery life is said to be up to 10 hours. Thickness is 0.54″ (13.7mm) and weight is 2.97lbs (1.4kg).

The Razer has also updated the external GPU enclosure, the Core V2 allows gamers to seamlessly transform highly mobile Thunderbolt 3 laptops like the Razer Blade Stealth into a desktop-class gaming experience. It features the world’s first dual Thunderbolt 3 internal controller design that separates lanes for both graphics and connected devices, improving gameplay. The external graphics enclosure comes with four USB 3.0 ports and Gigabit Ethernet. It has a 500W power supply and supports taller cards than the previous version, including Nvidia Quadro GPUs for professional applications and the GeForce 10 series and AMD Radeon 500 series.

The new quad-core Razer Blade Stealth is available now at $1,699 and is equipped with 16GB of RAM and a 512 GB PCIe SSD. The Razer Core V2 will be available at $499 and will be shipping soon in the United States , Canada , United Kingdom , France , and Germany .
