The Taipei Times reports that Quanta Computers reported shipping 9.2 million notebooks in Q1, up 9.52% on last year, although down 12.4% from 10.5 million units in Q4, in line with seasonal trends. Revenues were NT$56.1 billion ($1.8 billion), more or less flat with last year. Separately, reports said that Asustek shipped 4.2 million notebooks in Q1.
