Qatar 2022: E-paper displays for the soccer World Cup

What They Say

Papercast said that it has installed 23″ ePaper displays for passenger information in public transport in Qatar just in time for the World Cup and claims that the project is “one of the largest single e-paper installations” in the world.

What We Think

We’ve covered Papercast several times over the years and the firm was established in 2017 with an HQ in London to work on battery and solar-powered ePaper systems. We have previously reported on installations in Israel and Japan and collaboration with NEC (at PTE in 2018).    (BR)
