Hannstar Display Corporation reported Q3 net losses of NTD707 million ($21.6 million) on turnover of NTD3.99 billion ($122 million), up on losses of NTD580 ($17.7 million) on NTD5.65 billion ($173 million) in the corresponding period last year. For the first nine months there were losses of NTD854 million ($26.1 million) on revenue of NTD13.41 billion ($410 million), compared with profits in the year-ago period of NTD1.2 billion ($36.7 million) on sales of NTD17.41 billion ($532 million). Total shipments were up QoQ by 0.5% with small and medium panels at 96.49 million and large panels at 30,000. Mobile phone, 6.2″-10.1″ and over 11″ panels accounted for 47%, 34% and 19% of the product mix respectively.
