Pre-orders have now started for Apple‘s iPad Pro tablet, with sales expected to begin this month. Pricing scales from $800 to $1,080.
Asus has enhanced the Zenfone 2 smartphone (Asus Swims Against Current With Mobile Announcements) to create the Deluxe Special Edition. This 5.5″ model features a 64-bit quad-core processor (up to 2.5GHz), 4GB of RAM and 256GB of storage (128GB standard, with 128GB SD card). The phone has a 3,000mAh battery, with fast charging.
The second edition of LG‘s G Watch Urbane (Refreshed Watch Urbane Ends Smartphone Need) is now available in the USA and Korea. Availability in Europe, Asia and the CIS countries will be announced later.
We had heard that the Lumia 950 and 950 XL smartphones, from Microsoft, would be launched in December (MDM Product Roundup – Vol 22 No 42). Now, The Verge claims that they will be launched in the USA on the 20th November, followed by a UK release on the 3rd December.
Samsung‘s Gear VR (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 22) can now be pre-ordered, for $100. This is the final consumer model: it is lighter than the current Innovator Edition, with a larger touchpad and compatibility with more Samsung phones. The release date is marked as the 20th November on Amazon.
