Pimax Raises Series A Funding

We reported on a prototype headset at IFA (Showstoppers Busy with Headsets & Smartwatches) and the NY VR Expo (NYVR Expo and Conference) and the company has completed a kickstarter campaign that raised $2.45 million. Now the company has raised close to $15 million in a Series A funding round that was led by companies including O-Film to Tianma. The company is expected to start shipping ‘5K’ and ‘8k’ headsets to early backers in January.
