Invidis, the Munich-based digital signage consultancy, posted an article (in German) about a hack to a pharmacy system that allowed an iPhone user to display pornography on the pharmacy displays. The company said that remote access software based on TeamViewer was accessible – possibly with a bad password – and that allowed the hack. Alternatively, it may have been via a virus or trojan attack. A report earlier this year, identified TeamViewer as accounting for 37.2% of security events from the top ten remote desktop tools.
