Portugese regulator Anacom has said that there were about 3.3 million pay-TV subs in the country at the end of September. The figure represents a net addition of 46,500 QoQ (up 1.4%) and 132,000 YoY (up 4.2%). Pay-TV penetration in Portugal now exceeds 55%. Cable TV, with 1.37 million subscribers, was the most popular platform, although lost 10,500 subscribers from Q2. xDSL customers were at 738,000, DTH at 594,000 and FTTH/B at 587,000.
