Hungarian regulator NMHH has said that there were around 3.4 million pay-TV subscribers in the country at the end of October. More than 2 million were taking cable or IPTV services, of which 1.1 million were digital. Satellite homes stood at almost 900,000, and pay-TV platform MinDig TV Extra had just under 120,000 customers. There were more than 2.1 million digital TV subscribers at the end of the period. The largest pay-TV providers were UPC (26.9% share), Magyar Telekom (24.9%) and Digi (23.4%).
