Panasonic TV Line Up Clarified

panasonicPanasonic has released details of its latest range of 2017 TVs in Europe. The size details are in the table.

The EZ models are the UltraHD OLEDs, while the EX models are the UltraHD models for 2017. ES TVs are not UltraHD. All of the UltraHD models will have HLG as well as HDR10 and also has a ‘fast HDR’ mode for gaming.

All of this year’s range is flat and is edge lit. There are no direct-lit LCDs. The EX750 range is the top of the line for LCD and has 550 cd/m² of peak brightness and continues to support Active 3D. The EX700 range steps brightness down to 350 cd/m² of brightness and has 90% of DCI-P3 gamut. The EX600 keeps the same brightness, but with less sophisticated dimming technology. ES500 and ES400 do not support HDR and the 40″ and up panels support FullHD. The ES400 range has a slower backlight motion rate.
