Panasonic’s Prototype Set to Become Reality at IFA

We have seen several OLED TV prototypes from Panasonic, starting at CES 2013 (Display Monitor Vol 20 No 3) and continuing until CES this year. At the show (Panasonic is Big on B2B), we saw a curved UltraHD OLED TV, and mentioned at the time that there might be more from the company at IFA.

Multiple sources now claim that Panasonic will indeed show a consumer OLED TV in Berlin. The display will be a curved, 65″ UltraHD unit called the 65CZ950. It will support HDR (reaching 800 cd/m² of brightness), with a panel from LG Display.

Other rumoured features include the Firefox OS, passive 3D and ISF and THX certification.
