Philips Wins “Li-Fi” Project

In its quarterly financials, Philips mentioned a project that it had undertaken in Q2 with Carrefour in Lille, France. LG Electronics recorded Q2 net profits of KRW226.4 billion ($193.1 million), down from profits of KRW411.8 billion ($351.2 million) last time, on turnover which fell to KRW13.9 trillion ($11.9 billion) from KRW15.1 trillion ($12.8 billion). Nintendo Result 29/7/15

Nintendo posted Q1 net profits of ¥8.3 billion ($66.4 million), compared with losses in the same period last year of ¥9.9 billion ($79.5 million), on revenue which rose 21% to ¥90.2 billion ($723.2 million) from ¥74.7 billion (598.7 million). The company attributed the improvement to increased game sales coupled with foreign exchange gains.
