Asus’ Nick Wu has told the Taipei Times that the company will launch its second-generation Zenwatch this quarter. Wu said that “a few hundred thousand” have been sold since the watch was launched in December, with a similar take-up of the Vivowatch launched in May.
Media Broadcast and public service broadcaster WDR, in Germany, has begun a trial using the DVB-T2 platform and HEVC codec, in Bonn and Cologne. An official launch of these services is expected in June next year.
