Video display processing company Pixelworks Inc. posted Q3 net losses of $1.2 million, an improvement on losses of $2.3 million a year earlier, on turnover of $16.6 million, down from $17.1 million. The head of French public service broadcaster France Televisions has said that up to 7% of households could lose DTT access, when the country moves to the MPEG-4 AVC platform on the 5th April next year. Currently, DTT is simulcast using MPEG-2 and MPEG-4.
