VESA’s membership roster has exceeded 230 companies. The organisation attributes much of its recent growth to increasing adoption of the DisplayPort standard, which is being supported by DisplayPort Alt Mode in USB-C. VESA will show DisplayPort over USB-C, Adaptive Sync, Display Stream Compression and Panel Self Refresh technologies at CES 2016 next month.
