E Ink and Vanzo Technology have co-operated on a turnkey solution to support the development of dual-screen mobile phones using MediaTek chips. The solution combines E Ink ePaper technology with Vanzo’s software and app.

Microvision reported Q1 2016 net loss of $3.6 million, down 10% YoY from $4 million. Turnover was $3.7 million, up over 4 times YoY from $0.9 million.
Nintendo reported 2016 year end net profit of 137.4 million yen ($1.2 million), down 62% YoY from 353.5 million yen ($3.3 million). Turnover was 504 billion yen ($4.7 billion), down 8.2% YoY from 549 billion yen ($5.1 billion). Lower 3DS sales impacted the turnover in the current financial year.
AUO said that its revenues were down 14.7% from last quarter at NT$71.14 billion ($2.2 billion) with a gross margin of just 0.5%. Barco has appointed Jan De Witte, a former corporate officer of the General Electric Company, as CEO-designate. The current CEO, Eric Van Zele, plans to retire later this year. De Witte will join Barco’s Core Leadership Team in June 2016 to effectively take over as CEO as of 1 October 2016.
