Optoma Unveils Next Generation High Performance DuraCore Laser – ZU660e

Optoma has just announced the next generation of its DuraCore laser ZU650+ projector.

The new 6,500-lumen, WUXGA ZU660e harnesses the same features as its predecessor but has a higher brightness, improved colour performance, four corner adjustment and Full 3D.

James Fursse, Product Manager at Optoma Europe, commented: “The ZU660e gives installers highly flexible installation options with seven lenses available, including an ultra-short throw lens and dome lens, along with 360° positioning in any direction.”

The projector’s enhanced colour performance delivers strikingly rich and lifelike images with exceptional detail. It is the latest to join the DuraCore laser line up, defined by its virtually maintenance free lifetime of 20,000 hours in full brightness mode, and an independent IP rated dust resistance certification – giving system designers confidence in the long-term brightness performance.

The ZU660e has been independently tested and certified with an IP5X dust resistance rating. The filter free and lamp less design cuts out the need for disruptive maintenance – a key consideration on inaccessible or hard-to-reach installs and ensures low cost of total ownership.

Designed for 24/7 continuous operation in challenging environments, this model is suitable for applications where the projector is permanently installed and performing around the clock.
