Japanese OLED manufacturer Idemitsu Kosan will add Toray Industries to its ever-growing list of partners in the co-development of OLED materials.
Idemitsu Kosan had previously stated its intention to expand its production capacity by 70% and has since signed development deals with LG Chem, Merck, the Doosan Coorporation and BOE Display. The two companies will amalgamate their experience and expertise to develop and evaluate materials, combining their evaluation and production capacity.
The agreement was formed with a view to accelerating material development and lowering production costs.
